Hey, my name is Jonas. I grew up on "Lord of the Rings" and "Star Wars" which pushed aside the authoring career I had planned from when I was 7 years old. I have worked on upwards of 100 Sets in the last 7 years and been acquiring the skills of directing for 4 more. Today I am 22 years old and looking to break into the professional Movie and TV industry proper as a Junior Director. 

Hey, my name is Jonas. I grew up with "Lord of the Rings" and "Star Wars" which pushed aside the authoring career I had planned from when I was 7 years old. I have worked on upwards of 150 Sets in the last 8 years in different positions and have been acquiring the skills of directing for 6 of these years. Today I am 26 years old and working on my High Fantasy IP "Soul Atlas" (more details at the end).

2018 on the Set of "DRUNK"

project track record

2015-2021 worked on upwards of 100 sets in different departments including two feature films "Nie Wieder" and "World Order" as 2nd Unit DoP. Positions on these sets included: Boom Op, 1st AC, 2nd AC, Cam Op, DoP (1st & 2nd Unit), Electric, Script Continuity, 1st AD, Producer, Editor, and Actor. Many of these Sets were not up to professional standards.

2016-2018 Attended and graduated from the film acting school in Cologne

2018-2020 Work as an actor for including NDR and ZDF under the agency global act management

2018-now Directed 50+ short films of which 12 with significant team sizes & production

2020 Challenge 44: Directed 40+ short films within 4 months

2020-2022 Worked the camera and edit at ikario including shoots for upwards of 50 video productions

2022-2023 Working as Creative Director managing a team of 150 people & Film Director for Soul Atlas. Work includes cinematics as well as music videos (animated) and storyline management of a writers' room across games, short stories, cinematics, and graphic novels.

In line with my desire to work on a high-fantasy IP, I had the chance to create the "Soul Atlas Universe, a cross-media IP that has been in development for four+ years. I act as Creative Director for a variety of projects, including but not limited to films, games and comics. Our team is currently sized at almost 200 members and is steadily growing. Included in my day-to-day operations are team meetings with designers, writers, producers, marketers, investors, and film crew. I also direct our cinematic entries, of which one is in post-production, one is in development, and the other is written and has a soundtrack pre-recorded with the HKO orchestra.
